Target audience of this session is freelance Drupallers that develop sites individually or with a small team, rather than companies with large teams although it should be informative to anyone who is interested in using Scrum. This introductory session on Scrum will cover: - Why Scrum is often better than traditional approaches - Basics of Scrum - Why Scrum works well for many development projects using Drupal - Useful tools for Scrum - Things to consider when deciding whether to use Scrum - Possible pitfalls and how to avoid them

How can we make our software easier to use? How can we teach our clients how to use their websites? What's the best way to manage context sensitive help texts in Drupal? Join me as I demonstrate the HelpInject module, a module that makes writing context sensitive texts easier than ever. I'll also discuss how the Documentation team is planning on documenting Drupal core, and how the HelpInject module is a boon for module maintainers.

This workshop aims to get you started with Drupal by showing you how to install Drupal using the Damp installation (http://acquia.com/documentation/acquia-drupal-stack) and creating your first site. CTISN (http://ctisn.com) staff have kindly donated USB pens pre-installed with all software needed and will be on hand to help.
